Teresa attended the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. She graduated in 1996 with a MS in Physical Therapy. Teresa has worked in a variety of setting including inpatient acute care and skilled nursing, cardiac rehabilitation, inpatient sub-acute rehabilitation working with patients following strokes, head injuries, and spinal cord injuries, and finally home health care.
Teresa was introduced to the LWO team in 2017 when trying to obtain a wheelchair for a home health patient. After contacting Dr. Morgan and discussing the LWO mission, Teresa realized the importance and necessity of this unique opportunity. She joined the team shortly thereafter.
Teresa is passionate about discerning her patients’ needs while providing quality, compassionate, patient-centered care in order to meet patient goals.
During her free time, Teresa likes to spend time with her family and friends, volunteer with dog rescues, take her crazy rescue dogs on hikes, camp, and try to keep up with her husband, teenage daughters, and all of their on-going adventures and activities.
